Computer Use

We have five computers available to the patrons who have a library card with no fines or overdues on their patron account. Everyone can have at least 1 hour of computer time, and is able to extend time for an additional hour as long as no one else is waiting for a computer. We also give guest passes for computer use to out of town users who will not be using the computers regularly.

Prints can be made and picked up at the Circulation Desk. The cost for prints are as follows:

Black and White Copies – $0.15 per page

Color Copies – $0.30 per page


Faxes

To Send a Fax:

Local – $1.00 for the first page and $0.50 for each additional page

Long Distance – $2.00 for the first page and $0.50 for each additional page

To Receive a Fax:

$1.00 for the first page and $0.50 for each additional page

Loan Periods

Each patron is allowed 30 items per card. This can include a combination of books, DVD’s, audio-books, magazines and other loan-able materials as rules apply. Patrons are allowed up to 2 DVDs and 1 game per card.

New Books/New Releases are on loan for 3 weeks. If there are no hold requests on that item then a renewal is available.

All other book, audio-books, and magazines are on loan for 3 weeks. These items are allowed up to 2 renewals as long as there are no hold requests on them.

DVDs/Blu-rays/Video Games are on loan for 1 week. (Exception Waterloo’s TV series are loaned for 2 weeks) These items are not renewable.


Fines for Overdue Items

Overdue fines for book, audio-books, and magazines are each $0.10 per day.

DVD’s/Blu-ray/Video Games are $1.00 per day per item

Fines are charged only for the days the library is open.

After a period of 60 days if an item is not returned it is considered lost/stolen and a replacement charge, as well as overdue fines, are charged to the respective patron account.
