about the library mission statement

Waterloo Library & Historical Society provides patrons of all ages an integrative, full service library and historical experience.  As the birthplace of Memorial Day, we strive to educate on the founding and the service/sacrifice of all of America’s veterans.  We encourage participants to engage in our learning setting to become positive citizens, creating a stronger connection with life in the Finger Lakes.
